Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, hard-working Dishwasher/Kitchen Hand to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen and dining areas. Working a consistent daily schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you will ensure our students and staff always have a spotless environment to enjoy their meals. A positive attitude and a robust work ethic are essential for this role!

Our kitchen and dining room are the heart of our community, and we are looking for a dedicated team member to help us keep our food service operations running beautifully and safely.

Key Responsibilities

- Dishwashing: Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots, and pans used during daily food preparation and meal times.
- Kitchen & Dining Room Maintenance: Maintain a pristine environment by cleaning and sanitizing counters, food prep areas, and dining tables.
- Deep Cleaning: Regularly clean surfaces throughout the facility, including floors (sweeping and mopping), walls, and light fixtures.
- Waste Management: Empty garbage, compost, and recycling bins throughout the shift,



replacing liners and disposing of waste in designated outdoor areas.
- Safety & Organization: Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the kitchen and dining room remain free of hazards.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Attitude: A vibrant, positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience: Previous experience in dishwashing or commercial cleaning is an asset, but we are happy to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Background Check: A clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check is required for employment, as we operate within a school environment.
