Boom Truck Driver/ Driver - Requires a “DZ” license

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operates vehicle to test truck scales in our service area.

Performs routine vehicle maintenance on truck and boom, including documenting daily inspections and ensuring safety equipment, straps and paperwork are in place.
Follows safe operating procedures. Advises supervisor of potential hazards.
Accountable for working safely and ensures that all work is conducted in compliance with health and safety policies and legislation.
Maintains professional comportment at all times.
Assist in repairing, calibrating, and servicing weighing equipment.
Other duties as requested by manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must hold a valid ‘DZ’ level driver’s license.
Must have strong communication skills and be able to understand co-worker requirements.
Position requires good communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment.
Strong mechanical, electronic and / or technical background to assist scale technicians a bonus.




Boom training is a bonus.

Job Type: Part-Time / Casual (with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate).

Salary: $25.00 / hour

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
