Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks equipped for freight transportation across regional or national routes.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
- Conduct routine inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure mechanical safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and freight documentation for each trip.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to coordinate freight movement and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
- Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to promote a safe working environment.
Skills
- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Prefers long runs such as Arizona , California , Texas
- Atleast 2 years of experience in long haul runs
- Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment in a logistics or warehouse setting.
- Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety standards.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and dispatchers.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads, operate machinery, and perform manual tasks as required.
- Knowledge of regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation.
