KAN Recruitment is currently hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk for a well-established organization located in Vernon, BC. This is an expected three-month contract opportunity offering a positive work environment and the potential for a hybrid working arrangement following the required on-site training.

The successful candidate will support the Accounts Payable department by processing invoices accurately and efficiently for multiple Canadian and U.S. companies.

Responsibilities

- Receive, process, and verify invoices daily for six Canadian and U.S. companies
- Review and correct accounts payable batches
- Enter and reconcile corporate credit card transactions
- Review vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies or missing invoices
- Respond to inquiries regarding overdue or outstanding invoices
- Prepare cheque and EFT payment runs
- Gather and provide supporting documentation for transactions
- Assist with additional accounts payable and administrative duties as required

Qualifications

- Previous accounts payable experience
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy




- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is considered an asset
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Position Details

- Location: Vernon, BC
- Contract: Expected three-month term
- Compensation: $22.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience
- On-site training is required
- Hybrid working arrangements may be available following training
