We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations for an Automotive Tier 1 manufacturer in the Kitchener Waterloo, ON region.

Pay - $80-$90K

Shift - Afternoon

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance technicians, millwrights, electricians, and contractors.

- Ensure safe operation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment, automation systems, and facility assets.

- Plan and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.

- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and robotic systems.

- Monitor equipment performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reliability.

- Ensure compliance with all company EHS policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

- Support and maintain the facility's Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001 standards.

- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action follow-ups.

- Coordinate maintenance activities to support production schedules and customer delivery requirements.

- Manage maintenance work orders, spare parts inventory,



and maintenance records through CMMS systems.

- Train, mentor, and develop maintenance team members while promoting a solid safety culture.

- Participate in capital projects, equipment installations, and process improvement initiatives.

- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement teams to achieve operational objectives.

- Monitor maintenance KPIs including downtime, PM completion rates, MTBF, and maintenance costs.

Qualifications:

- Post-secondary degree, diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

- At least three (3) years of experience in a Maintenance Supervisor role, preferably within the automotive manufacturing sector.

- Strong understanding of tooling, production equipment, and assembly/manufacturing processes.

- Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment is considered an asset.

- Solid technical expertise in equipment troubleshooting, reading schematics and technical manuals, and supporting automated systems, including robotics and PLC-controlled equipment.
