ABOUT THE POSITION
We are currently recruiting for a Junior Finance Manager reporting into Controller in our Toronto location. The ideal candidate for this position has a minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role and preferably working toward CPA. We are looking for someone who is client-focused, energetic and would like to be part of a growing company.
- Full cycle Accounting duties including AR & AP & GL reconciliation
- Cash management
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with internal counterparts, contractors, suppliers, and customers.
- Measure and report key performance indicators to management (weekly and monthly reports)
- Ensure the implementation of procedures to achieve the objectives set by management
Skills
- Must have a strong understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
- Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office is required.
- Prior use of ERP system NetSuite would be an asset.
- Understands the value of confidentiality.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high degree of accuracy without supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter, can work in a team and independently
Assets
Bachelor's plus 3-7 years experience in a similar role
Experience building financial models considered an asset
