We are currently seeking a motivated individual for the position of Crane Operator at our 140 Paquin Road Winnipeg, MB location. This is a full-time, permanent position that reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Please note - our work workplace is safety sensitive and will require the successful applicant to undergo pre-employment testing.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently load, unload, and transport steel materials using forklifts, cranes,
or other material handling equipment.
- Operate packaging tools (machine and hand).
- Using RF devices for accurate material tracking.
- Paying close attention to accuracy and detail.
- Working in fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Education and Skills Required:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- May be required to work rotating shifts
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Ability to operate forklift is an asset
- Proficient in performing mathematical calculations with ability to read a tape measure and calipers
- Self-motivated, results oriented
- Minimum 2 years of overhead crane experience
Shift Hours: Rotating shifts
Wage: $31.68 / hour
