Warehouse Shipper/Receiver

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Warehouse Shipper Receiver to handle the

movement of goods in and out of a facility. You are responsible for loading and unloading trucks,

checking inventory receipts, preparing shipping documents, and interacting with freight services,

breaking down and inspecting product to verify quality, amount and that they match our Purchase

Orders. You are also responsible to ensure the quality, quantity, and labeling of the items. You will

need robust organizational skills, an eye for detail and basic math skills. You must have adequate

physical strength as well as good clerical skills to record any variances from our purchase orders on all

paperwork and ensure our records are correct.

Shift: Days: Monday – Friday (5am-1:30pm)

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor

Range: $20.00 - $23.00

Responsibilities:

 Shipping, receiving and recording the movement of supplies, materials, equipment and stock to

and from the establishment.

 Determining method of shipment and preparing bills, invoices and other shipping documents.

 Ensure product is correctly separated and broken down.

 Assembling pallets, packing goods to be shipped, and affixing identifying information and

shipping instructions

 Loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other vehicles utilizing a pallet jack or dock

stacker.

 Inspecting and verifying incoming goods against invoices or other documents, recording shortages





and rejecting damaged goods

 Performing receipt data entry and filing shipping documents

 Providing information to carriers regarding shipments and issuing call tags as required

 Always follow all safety rules and regulations.

 Be able to work in all temp zones, Dry, Cooler and Freezer.

 Always maintain a clean and organized work area

 Any other tasks or projects assigned by Supervisor or Manager

Specific skills

 Minimum 1 year experience (3 years preferred)

 Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

 Ability to squat, sit, stand, walk and reach daily and as needed to perform all job functions

 Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

 Must be able to work in a team as well as independently

 Basic PC and Bar code Scanner knowledge

 Basic math and recording ability

 Great communication and interpersonal abilities

 Perform different job functions within the organizations warehouse department

 Excellent organizational skills

 Must be able to follow procedures and best practices

 Willingness to work overtime as required
