JOB PURPOSE

The Registered Cardiology Technologist Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day coordination of the Electrodiagnostic Service as well as performing the duties or a registered cardiology technologist.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Completion of a recognized Cardiology Technology Program or equivalent.
- Must be registered with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists and licensed or eligible to be licensed with the Recent Brunswick Society of Cardiology Technologists.
- Must have two years of clinical experience.
- Must have demonstrated supervisory ability.
- Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
- Ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Good work record.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Registered Cardiology Technologist Coordinator is responsible for:

- Assisting with the organization, planning and supervision of the service
- Performing Administrative tasks to assist with the management of the service




- Providing staff orientation and participating in staff development programs
- Performing cardiac diagnostic procedures and tests and preparing reports
- Maintaining clinical and workload records and documentation
- Coordinating mentoring and support for students and other health care professionals
