A stable, growing commercial construction company in North York is hiring an Estimator / Project Coordinator — and it's genuinely one of the more well-rounded roles you'll come across. Instead of being boxed into one lane, you'll own both the estimating side and the project coordination side of the business, giving you a front-row seat to how a project moves from tender to completion.

That kind of exposure is exactly what this role is designed for: it's a built-in path toward Project Manager or Senior Estimator for someone who wants to grow, not just clock hours.

What you'll be doing:
✔ Reviewing drawings, specs, and tender documents, and performing quantity take-offs (drywall, steel stud framing, insulation, ceilings)
✔ Pricing labour, material, equipment, and subcontract scopes, and helping prepare competitive tender submissions
✔ Coordinating procurement, deliveries, and subcontractor schedules once a project is awarded
✔ Tracking budgets, RFIs, change orders, submittals, and closeout documentation
✔ Being the communication hub between clients, consultants, vendors, and field staff

What you bring:

- A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Technology, Quantity Surveying,



or similar
- 3-5 years in commercial construction (an asset, not a hard requirement) — drywall experience is a plus
- Comfort reading drawings/specs and performing take-offs
- Strong Excel skills; Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or On-Screen Takeoff experience is a bonus
- A proactive, organized, detail-driven approach — you like keeping a dozen moving pieces on track

- $65,000-$90,000, based on experience
