Prism Flow Products is currently seeking the position of a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver to join our Edmonton Warehouse Team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare orders for shipment or delivery
- Load, unload trucks
- Wrapping product, unloading and reloading crates
- Maintain a safe and sanitary warehouse and perform various housekeeping duties
- Ensure safety of equipment/vehicles by performing pre-trip inspections and regular maintenance/check-ups
- Complete required paperwork in an accurate, efficient and practical manner
- Organize proper documentation. Truck manifest: sign-offs for pick-up's & drop-off's
- Demonstrate and promote a safe work environment for all employees, customers, vendors and others, using company safety policies and procedures
- Provide excellent customer/vendor service
- Shipping & Receiving department duties in general
- Maintain yard upkeep when required
- Other duties as assigned
The Successful Candidate:
- Forklift experience (both reach truck in isles, and sit-down)
- Previous warehouse and customer service experience
- Ball Valve knowledge or experience would be considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and acceptable Driver’s Abstract (Non GDL preferred but can be discussed)
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Must be comfortable manually lifting up to 50 lbs
- Is a team player with excellent communication and customer service skills
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Is well organized and energetic
- Self-motivated team player
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with physically demanding work
