We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Cook to become part of our kitchen team. This position involves preparing meals to a high standard while contributing to a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen operation. The successful candidate is someone who works well under pressure, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering quality food service.

Note: Starting wage is minimum wage (or student minimum) unless experience is sufficient to increase offering.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
- Ensure kitchen stations remain clean, organized, and properly stocked during shifts.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply shortages to management.




- Operate kitchen equipment safely and follow all workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with training and supporting new team members as needed.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred.
- Familiarity with common cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Understanding of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a rapid-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements

- Dependable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Food Handler Certification is required or must be obtained before employment begins.

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour

- Food service management: 1 year (preferred)
