Sanjo Sushi is a growing Japanese restaurant in Uptown New Westminster. We're looking for a skilled chef who can handle the roll station — someone who takes pride in clean technique and consistent execution.

Schedule
Full-time, 3 days a week (Friday-Sunday)

What you'll be doing

Roll Station:

- Prepare maki, uramaki, and specialty rolls with consistency and speed
- Handle daily mise en place — rice, fillings, sauces, toppings
- Follow portioning and rolling standards to support cost control and consistency
- Maintain high standards for food quality, sanitation, and station organization
- Communicate smoothly with the kitchen and front-of-house during service

What we're looking for

- Experience on roll/maki station (must be able to work independently)
- Clean, fast technique with attention to presentation and portioning
- Reliable, punctual, and calm under pressure




- Food Safe certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain)
