Johnson AV continues to grow! We’re looking for a Senior AV Technician to join our Ottawa team!

- Role includes being a senior technician and/or leading project teams on commercial sites.
- Strong understanding of AV systems, installation & troubleshooting skills
- Strong focus on quality and customer service
- Strong focus on communication with project team & manager
- Prioritize health & safety for yourself & the team
- Read & understand technical drawings, floor plans, elevations & other AV or construction drawings
- Good working knowledge of Crestron/Extron/Q-SYS, Poly, Biamp, Shure, Vaddio, Zoom, Logitech, Yealink Teams, MS Teams and similar products
- Comfortable updating firmware, navigating IP configurations, commissioning systems, troubleshooting

Things we're looking for:

- Minimum of 3 years AV experience
- Strong written & communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Valid drivers license with car
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Strong desire to learn and grow in the AV industry
- Have a current security clearance is an asset for government work

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
