Responsibilities

- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients under supervision.
- Support kitchen staff by organizing supplies and ensuring all items are stored correctly and safely.
- Follow food handling safety standards and sanitation protocols at all times to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Help with waste disposal and recycling processes to keep the kitchen tidy and environmentally friendly.

Requirements

- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and food handling safety.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking support tasks.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive approach to assisting others in the hospitality environment.
