Microsoft 365 / Power Platform Consultant

Full time/Remote

Location: Needs to be local to Canada and have valid work Authorization

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a technical consulting, solution delivery, or Microsoft platform role.
- Hands-on experience delivering solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, and Power BI.
- Strong SharePoint Online experience, including sites, lists, libraries, permissions, intranet pages, customization, and custom web parts or extensions.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, OneDrive, and basic security, governance, and compliance concepts.
- Experience working in a consulting, services, or project-based environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders, verbally and in writing.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and validating requirements, then translating them into solution designs and technical tasks.
- Practical experience using or implementing Microsoft Copilot is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Support RFPs, proposals, and statements of work by contributing solution approach, scope assumptions, effort estimates, and technical content.
- Lead or support requirements discovery with stakeholders and document clear business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Design, build, test, and deploy Microsoft 365, Power Platform,



and SharePoint Online solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate flows, SharePoint lists/libraries, and related services.
- Configure or extend Dynamics 365 and Dataverse solutions when required; this is a nice-to-have capability, not a mandatory requirement.
- Prepare solution design documents, technical specifications, test notes, deployment notes, and user or administrator documentation.
- Apply Microsoft 365 and Power Platform best practices for security, governance, compliance, maintainability, and scalability.
- Manage assigned delivery work from design through build, testing, deployment, and handover.
- Communicate regularly with clients by facilitating workshops, presenting solution options, demonstrating work in progress, clarifying scope, setting expectations, and providing status updates.
- Stay current with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot, and Dynamics 365 capabilities and recommend practical improvements for client solutions.

Pay: $51,998.35-$100,000.00 per year
