Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive service, accurate order taking, and timely delivery of food and beverages.

Duties

- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system (TouchBistro experience is an asset).
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.
- Provide exceptional, attentive service to guests in a fast-paced workplace.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow and promptly address any guest concerns.




- Maintain detailed knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all guests receive prompt attention throughout their dining experience.
- Experience bartending is an asset

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of serving experience in a high-volume or fast-paced environment
- Smart Serve certification
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and order calculations.
- Strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
- Experience with POS systems; familiarity with TouchBistro POS is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality.
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
