Raj Grocers Inc is looking for an individual to assist with various bookkeeping duties, along with some office administrative functions. QuickBooks experience is required for this bookkeeping position, which will be focused on accounts receivables.
Raj Grocers Inc is a wholesale distributor of brand name food, cleaning, toiletries and pharmaceutical products and has been family-owned and operated for over 35 years.
Responsibilities:
- contact customers regularly regarding due invoices
- email/fax statement of accounts to customers
- prepare credit memos when appropriate
- post and reconcile payments
- work towards reducing outstanding receivables
- communicate collections issues with management and sales team as appropriate
- assist office team with other admin/accounting support as needed
Required Work Experience:
- at least 2 years bookkeeping, preferably with focus on accounts receivables
Skills:
- ability to work well under time constraints (time management)
- robust communications
- responsible and organized
- punctuality and attendance to lead by example
- familiarity with basic business and financial principles
- ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
- proficient with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
