KWS Keys Welding Service Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Welder/Fabricator located at our facility in the North Corman Industrial Park.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
- Responsible for accurately filling out process sheets daily logs as project documentation are required.
- Performing first level of quality control.
- Rig, hoist and move materials to storage areas or within worksite.
- Accurately lay out the work piece for fitting of components for, drilling or punching of holes, bending of plates and material edge preparation. (Chamfer, Bevel, Flame Cut, Plasma)
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
- Maintain safe working place by using safe work practices.
Qualifications:
- Journeyperson Welder or Fabricator
- 3-5 years’ experience
- CWB Ticket, SMAW, GMAW, All Position, and SCOT Training.
- Highly motivated, providing exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Well organized and possess great attention to detail to produce high quality work in a fast paced workplace, while ensuring proper safety standards are met.
