We have exciting new opportunities for Forklift Drivers/Material Handlers in the Windsor/Essex County area!
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting, storing, and handling materials to support daily manufacturing and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will help maintain an efficient production flow while assisting with shipping, receiving, and inventory movement in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do:
- Operate forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, or other powered equipment) safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, transport, and stage raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials
- Supply production lines with required materials to meet operational demands
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying quantities and documentation
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns
- Maintain accurate inventory movement records (manual or system-based)
- Follow all health & safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Work collaboratively with production, logistics, and warehouse teams
Requirements:
- Valid forklift license / certification
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 3 years of forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (automotive preferred)
- Experience handling large, heavy, or awkward loads
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Basic computer or inventory system experience is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency in using a warehouse management system for order picking and tracking
- Basic math skills to accurately count and record inventory
