Tank Traders® is looking for an Electrical Assembler to join our Research & Development team in La Salle, Manitoba!

Our R&D; team is growing and working on exciting new projects. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with equipment and machinery, helping build and test new ideas that support our operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Electrical Assembly & Wiring: Help build machinery by installing wiring, sensors, controls, and electrical components using drawings
- Prototyping: Assist with assembling, testing, and troubleshooting new equipment
- Fabrication Support: Work with sheet metal and structural components—cutting, bending, drilling, and modifying aluminum and steel using manual and powered tools.
- Blueprint Reading & Design Feedback: Follow electrical and mechanical drawings and suggest improvements
- Problem Solving & Innovation: Work with the team to fix issues and support new builds and ideas

Schedule:

- Day Shifts - starting at 7am or 8am
- Monday - Friday
- 8 hour days
- Overtime as needed

What We’re Looking For:

- Strong Mechanical and Electrical Aptitude – Comfortable working with tools, equipment, and electrical systems
- Blueprint Reading Skills –Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Adaptability – Enjoys working on a variety of custom, one-off projects in a dynamic workplace.




- Problem Solver Mindset – Thinks creatively and contributes practical solutions to design and build challenges.
- Team Player Attitude – Works well cross-functionally and contributes to a collaborative environment.
- Technical Knowledge – Familiarity with automation concepts (PLCs, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics) is an asset.
