LHMA is looking for a Montessori Educator( Level 1, 2 or 3)

You will be spending time in the classroom and supporting staff by observing routines, recognizing their quality of programming as well as acknowledging any challenges to offer support or ideas.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Daily communication with parents and children to maintain a trustful and understanding relationship.

- Administration office duties include accurate updated children/staff file records and monthly planning.

- Maintain inventory of school/class supplies and furnishings.

- On-the-floor interaction/observation of children and teaching staff.

- Developing, participating, and engaging services as per approved marketing plans.

- Developing and implementing the Montessori and Summer program.

- Periodic reporting to licensing authorities,



subsidy, and accreditation bodies, and other regulatory groups.

- Academic Qualifications must be equivalent to Alberta Staff Certification CDS (formerly Level 3) OR CDW (Formerly Level 2) ie; Early Childcare Diploma, Bachelor of Education, Child Studies Degree, etc.

- Montessori training is desirable.
