Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and handling protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and smooth kitchen flow during busy hour.
- Follow health regulations and safety procedures diligently to uphold a protected working environment
- Support the serving staff by ensuring orders are accurate and ready for prompt delivery to guests
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments with a solid understanding of food handling and meal preparation
- Strong cooking skills with knowledge of various culinary techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in hygiene and sanitation
