WSS is seeking a full-time Cook to prepare and serve meals for up to 10 people (6 clients and staff) in a supportive residential setting. The Cook is responsible for following menu plans and budgets, preparing advance meals for weekends/holidays, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen that meets all food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve daily meals/snacks (breakfast, lunch, and supper).
- Maintain 3 - 5 days of frozen, prepared meals for coverage.
- Track inventory and place weekly food orders.
- Keep the kitchen and dining area clean and protected.
- Ensure clients have access to nutritious snacks.
- Save meals for night staff as required.

Qualifications

- Previous cooking/kitchen experience (restaurant, institutional, or community setting preferred).
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
