We are currently seeking applications for a Construction Labourer to help in the installation of Lightning Protection Systems.

The work includes:

- Installing lightning cable, rods, connectors, anchors and fasteners on flat and sloped roofs
- Pulling / Installing riser cable in conduit / on walls from the roof system to the grounding system.
- Installing ground rods/plates/cable below grade in the ground.

The way we work includes:

- Crews (Foreman and 1 - 2 installers) assemble in our shop in Dundas Ontario each morning and drive in company vans to their jobsites on a daily basis.
- For more distant jobsites, crews will stay out of town over night. Meal allowance and accommodation is provided.
- Work days are Monday to Friday

Skills/experience we need you to have includes:

- Valid driver’s license, clean driver's abstract and your own way of getting to/from our Dundas facility.
- Experience and ability in working with hand/power tools including electric drills/drivers.




- Work experience of 2 years preferred, preferably in roofing / landscaping or general construction.
- Ministry of Labour (Ont.) “Worker Health and Safety Awareness” training an asset.
- First Aid and CPR training would be an asset.
- High school diploma preferred
- Good communication skills

Training we provide on the job includes:

- Trade training in Lightning Protection Systems to code standards (CSA, NFPA)
- Working from lifts/elevated platforms
- Job and project specific safety training

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
