Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Cashier to handle transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in retail sales and possess excellent customer service skills.
Duties
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with customers
- Scan goods and collect payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
- Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Keep reports of transactions
Requirements
- Experience in retail sales is preferred
- Proficient in POS systems and cash handling
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Ability to upsell products or services
- Knowledge of technology sales is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Organizational skills to manage cashier duties efficiently
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per year
