Traffic and Logistics Specialist

Job description:

Responsible for scheduling orders and possess knowledge of shipping documentation requirements. SAP Knowledge is an Asset. Ability to prioritize shipments and monitor material ready dates to meet customer in house dates. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in EDI processes for large accounts and understand import/export rules and regulations (NAFTA, INCOTERM 2000, Import and Export Permit Acts, B13 requirements, etc.). This role will also support the WAM Supply Chain Pillar, and other WAM Pillars as required. Ability to work with various departments, individuals, and organizations to ensure materials flow through promptly and communicate with individuals at different levels in the organization and may sometimes be required to prepare progress reports for upper management.

Responsibilities

· Shipping Paperwork (BOL, Packing Slips and Customs Documents)

· Support inbound and outbound shipments from 3PL in Canada/US/Europe

· Scheduling - Traffic Schedule (Shipping/Receiving)

· Emails and daily communication with internal and external customers

· Order Submitting/EDI for deliveries to customers

· Filing/Scanning for document retention

· Invoicing in SAP for Finance requirements





· WAM and Supply Chain Pillar Support as required

· Special Projects and reports for traffic and shipping

· Smartsheet Dashboard building and monitoring

· OTIF Tracking and Monitoring

· SAP and product availability for on time in house to customer requirements

· Problem Solving abilities

· Time management skills

· Supporting the traffic team as required

· Daily communication with carriers and ability to work with others

Skills and Experience

· Able to work in a quick-paced, dynamic environment

· Experience in the Transportation industry

· Must be a dependable team player and work well with others in a professional manner

· Ability to multi-task and prioritize

· Organized with exceptional attention to detail

· Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems

· Experience with Smartsheet Dashboards is an asset but not required

· Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook proficient

· Customs Compliance knowledge would be an asset but not required

· Solid decision making and multitasking abilities.

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
