Acumen Logistics Ltd. is a growing transportation and warehousing company based in Delta, BC. We are currently seeking a dependable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused Class 1 Driver to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating both tractor-trailers (semi-trucks) and 5-ton trucks for local and regional deliveries, depending on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class 1 tractor-trailers and 5-ton trucks.
- Pick up and deliver freight efficiently while meeting scheduled delivery times.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle defects.
- Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and transported safely.
- Complete driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation accurately.
- Maintain regular communication with dispatch regarding deliveries and route updates.
- Assist with loading and unloading freight when required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic care of assigned vehicles.




- Comply with all company policies and applicable provincial and federal transportation regulations.
- Deliver excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.

Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence.
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Experience operating both semi-trucks and 5-ton trucks is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the Lower Mainland road network.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
