Summary

SML Entertainment is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Associate to become part of our energetic team in Red Deer. In this important role, you'll be responsible for driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service. You will help enhance the overall customer experience while showcasing our wide selection of leisure products. This position offers an hourly wage plus commission

Responsibilities

- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits to enhance customer understanding and interest.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor that showcases our products effectively.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of merchandise as needed.




- Upsell additional products and services to maximize sales opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements

- Proven experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective customer interaction.
- Ability to understand technical product specifications and convey them clearly to customers.
- Experience with upselling techniques to boost sales performance is preferred.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
