We are looking for a Hindi or Punjabi speaking individual to assist a specific ongoing client assignment in their home in the Markham community.

We are looking to fill an open role with daytime weekday and weekend availability.

Responsibilities:

- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and
- Preparing traditional Indian meals
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Personal Care assistance
- Alzheimer’s Care
- Hospice and Palliative support

Requirements:

- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Possessing a valid driver's license, a vehicle, and valid auto insurance is an asset
- Complete a criminal background check
- Ability to speak and understand either the Hindi or Punjabi language
- Ability to communicate effectively in English for communication with office team and documentation




- Completion of Personal Support Worker diploma, OR Completion of a Nursing Degree in any country, OR current enrollment in a nursing program are all assets, but not required
- Must be available on Sundays

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Saturday

Compensation: Starting at $19.50 to $22.50 per hour
