Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and heavy equipment operation. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are paramount. Previous warehouse experience and familiarity with various mechanical and heavy equipment are highly valued.

Duties

- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
- Perform order picking and packing to ensure accurate order fulfillment for shipping
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 for inventory tracking and data entry
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and products safely according to established protocols
- Assist in construction or maintenance tasks as needed using mechanical knowledge and heavy equipment operation skills
- Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment adhering to safety standards

Requirements





- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, manufacturing, or construction environments
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, and heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes
- Experience with warehouse experience including inventory management systems
- Ability to operate load & unload machinery safely in compliance with safety regulations
- Prior experience with packaging, order picking, and warehouse management systems is preferred
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks involving heavy lifting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.84-$23.54 per hour

Expected hours: 34.5 per week
