Vintage Chophouse and Tavern is currently searching for Line Cooks to join their team.

This position will be in a busy location with high volume and demand. Be sure to include the size of the operations you have previously been employed with.

ABOUT THE JOB

Position: Day/Evening Line Cooks

Terms of Employment: Full time availability including weekends and late nights.

Job Duties:

- Prepare and cook full course meals,
- Ensure quality of food is top notch and consistent,




- Work with specialized cooking equipment,
- Ensure that kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet cleaning standards,
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications,
- Meet dietary requirements where required,
- Clean and maintain station.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 year related experience - Knowledge about cooking temperatures, techniques and butchery including how to clean, cut and trim various meats.
- Knowledge about different cuts of steaks and preparation of meats.
- Ability to communicate well with back and front of house staff.
- Able to demonstrate organization skills.
- Demonstrated experience in high volume restaurant required.
