We are looking for a strong and independent person to be the preschool teacher for up to 5 children ages 3-4 in our small community, Grand Coulee, located approximately 10 km west of Regina. The best candidate will be able to create their own lesson plans, work independently, be a leader and enjoy working with children. The position is for 3 hours (8:45 to 11:45 a.m.) on days 1, 3 and 5 of the six day schedule in accordance with the Prairie Valley school calendar. While this individual will be working in the community's school they will not be an employee of the school division, you will be contracted by the Grand Coulee Preschool Board. This would be the perfect position for a person looking for a part time position.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood education and foster a love for learning.




- Create a secure and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs.
- Manage classroom activities, including organizing materials and maintaining order.
- Utilize effective time management and organizational skills to enhance classroom efficiency.

Qualifications

- Experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong teaching skills and knowledge of early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Effective time management abilities.
- Proficiency in English.
- Familiarity with classroom management and leadership techniques

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $450.00-$600.00 per month
