Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Duties

- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, adhering to all legal and safety guidelines
- Provide comprehensive patient care by offering medication counseling, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and review medication plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Ensure proper medication storage, inventory management, and documentation in compliance with hospital protocols
- Monitor patients’ responses to medications, adjusting treatments as necessary under physician supervision
- Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects,



and medical terminology to promote understanding and adherence
- Administer medications in acute care settings, including pediatrics and other specialized units, ensuring safe medication administration practices

Qualifications

- Valid pharmacist license with current registration in the relevant jurisdiction
- Hospital experience preferred, with a strong understanding of acute care environments
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate dispensing and documentation

Pay: $41.76-$67.13 per hour
