Job Summary

South Nanaimo Wellness Centre is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Registered Kinesiologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The successful candidate will assess clients, develop individualized exercise and rehabilitation programs, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support clients in achieving their health, recovery, and performance goals. Responsibilities

The successful candidate will possess:

- Conduct comprehensive functional and physical assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized exercise and rehabilitation programs.
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Educate clients on injury prevention, exercise techniques, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with Physiotherapists, Registered Massage Therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards of practice.
- Foster positive client relationships and contribute to a welcoming clinic environment.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

- Registration and membership in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK).
- Strong clinical assessment and exercise prescription skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A professional, compassionate, and client-focused approach to care.




- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Previous experience in a private practice, rehabilitation, or clinical setting is considered an asset.
