Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and personable Leasing Agent to join our leasing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing leasing activities, engaging with prospective tenants, and ensuring a smooth rental process. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of financial services and basic math principles. The Leasing Agent will play a key role in maintaining high occupancy rates and fostering positive relationships with residents.

Responsibilities

- Greet prospective tenants and provide detailed information about available properties
- Conduct property tours and answer questions regarding leasing terms, amenities, and policies
- Process rental applications, verify references, and coordinate background checks
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete
- Collect security deposits and rental payments in accordance with company policies




- Maintain up-to-date records of leasing activities and tenant interactions
- Collaborate with property management to develop marketing strategies for vacant units
- Assist in resolving tenant concerns promptly to promote satisfaction and retention

Experience

- Math skills for calculating rent payments, deposits, and financial transactions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with prospective tenants
- Familiarity with leasing software or property management systems is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
