Job Title: Production Technician

What You Will Do

- Keep Machines Running: Monitor manufacturing equipment, perform basic repairs, and assist with tool/line changes.
- Track Production: Monitor and record line efficiency, material weights, and machine downtime data.
- Maintain Quality: Perform quality checks on finished plastic packaging and report discrepancies.
- Stay Safe: Follow plant health, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping protocols.

What We Are Looking For

- Mechanical Aptitude: Robust hands-on mechanical understanding and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Reliability: Ability to thrive and remain versatile in a steady, fast-paced production environment.
- Team Players: Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team leads and operators.
- Physical Ability: Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting light plastic packaging products.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)



Requirements

To ensure a safe work environment, all team members must wear mandatory, approved PPE while on site.

- Footwear: CSA-approved safety boots (Candidate-owned, company contribution of $150).
- Eyewear: CSA-approved safety glasses (Provided by company).
- Headwear: Bump caps or hardhats (Provided by company).
- Handwear: Various gloves (Provided by company).
- Hearing protection: Chorded earplugs or earmuffs (Provided by company).
- Visibility: High-visibility safety vests (Provided by company).
- Hygiene: Hair nets and beard nets, if applicable (Provided by company).
