We are looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable female support worker to support an 18-year-old young woman with a developmental disability. This position focuses on helping her enjoy an active lifestyle while building confidence, independence, strength, and endurance through fun community activities.

Activities may include:

- Swimming
- Walking and hiking
- Biking
- Recreation programs and sports
- Bowling
- Indoor games/activities/crafts
- Community events and outings

The successful applicant will provide one-to-one supervision, transportation, assistance with personal care, encourage communication and independence, and pace activities around needs while ensuring safety.

Requirements:

- Female applicant (due to personal care requirements)
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Comfortable assisting with personal care
- Patient, active,



reliable, and safety-conscious
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Three references are mandatory
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is an asset

Training is provided, including orientation to communication strategies, personal care, safety procedures, routines, and documentation. Brief shift notes and communication after each shift are required.
