Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and energetic TIG Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in TIG welding for stainless steel, carbon steel and other alloys, along with a solid understanding of mechanical systems and blueprint reading, will ensure the production of high-quality metal structures and parts. Responsibilities

- Perform TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding to join various metals with accuracy and consistency, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
- Conduct rigging operations safely when moving heavy materials or assemblies using cranes or forklifts.
- Measure dimensions precisely with calipers and other measuring tools; perform basic math calculations for accurate fabrication.
- Assemble fabricated parts into finished products or structures following schematics and engineering standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols related to welding, machining, and construction activities.

Requirements

- Proven experience in TIG welding; proficiency in MIG welding is a plus.




- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in machining, ductwork fabrication, and construction environments.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, calipers, and other fabrication equipment.
- Experience with ASME B31.1 and B31.3 requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude for rebuilding equipment, pumps and instrumentation
- Knowledge of rigging procedures for lifting heavy components safely using cranes or forklifts.
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations involved in fabrication tasks.
- Prior experience working with schematics, assembly instructions, and manufacturing standards.
- Valid certification or demonstrated experience in welding (TIG preferred), with additional certifications in crane operation or forklift driving considered advantageous.
- A 'get up and go' attitude, a self-starter who can work independently
- Minimum high school degree obtained, prefer college degree, Red Seal Certification considered an asset.
- Experience reading 3D design

Pay: $20.00-$33.00 per hour
