Baywood Interiors Ltd. is a leading, progressive, medium sized architectural millwork, and, store fixture company, located in the Bridgeport Business Park area of Kitchener, ON.

We operate in the I.C.I., (industrial, commercial, and, institutional) construction fields, as well as, many retail store fixture environments.

In our 32nd year of operation, Baywood continues to grow and diversify its operations, and, is looking for the right candidate to join our team.

Education:

Graduate of Conestoga College:

-Woodworking Technology/Technician Programs, or, Woodworking Technology-Architectural Millwork Program

-Architecture/Construction Engineering Technology Program

-Graduates of other Ontario Colleges equivalent programs will also be considered

Experience:

Office experience in a professional manufacturing environment (woodworking/cabinetmaking manufacturing office experience is considered an asset)

Primary Job Duties:

-Using our in-house ACAD software, generate millwork shop drawings utilizing our estimates, and the architects architectural drawings, specifications, and addendums

-You will correspond with architects, interior designers, and general contractors for required clarifications during the creation of shop drawings





-You will research specialty items to be incorporated into the millwork shop drawings as required and liaise with the projects estimator to ensure you are within estimated material budgetary constraints

-You will continuously build repeat client detail libraries to assist in expediting required shop drawings

-You must adhere to General contractors deadlines for shop drawing submissions and required re-submissions as applicable.

Baywood's ACAD Supervisor

Other Job Skills required:

Excellent phone and computer skills, including Microsoft outlook, word, and excel, and ACAD
