Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating product features, and driving sales through effective communication and merchandising. Experience with POS systems are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and streamline transactions. The Sales Associate will play a key role in creating a welcoming shopping experience while achieving sales goals and maintaining organizational standards.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Provide knowledgeable assistance on product specifications, usage, and troubleshooting
- Perform cashiering duties including cash handling, processing transactions via POS systems, and issuing receipts
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and organize merchandise for easy customer access
- Handle customer inquiries professionally via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Assist with store organization, cleanliness,



and adherence to safety protocols

Requirements

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, especially in Fastening Products or Industrial products
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical products clearly and confidently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and inventory management
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a rapid-paced environment
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Professional appearance and positive attitude with strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
