Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator
Most people in this role last six months. They show up, hand out a few business cards, get told "we're happy with our current referral relationships," and decide this job is not for them.
We are not looking for that person.
We are looking for someone who hears "no" and treats it as a starting point. Someone who walks into a dental office, gets five minutes with the front desk, and leaves knowing every name in that building. Someone who genuinely loves people and has the kind of energy that makes a room feel different when they walk in.
This is a relationship development role for a growing orthodontic practice, and it is one of the most important positions on our team.
What This Role Actually Looks Like
You will be the face of this practice in the community, in dental offices, and at every event we attend or create. You are not behind a desk. You are out building the referral relationships that drive the production engine of this practice, and you will know enough about how we operate to represent us intelligently in every conversation.
Your week will include visiting referring dental offices, connecting with local businesses and community organizations, coordinating marketing events, and making sure every internal and external referral opportunity gets followed up on before it goes cold. You will travel across the city and into surrounding areas. A car and the confidence to use it are non-negotiable.
You will also understand our clinical process well enough to answer questions. Not at a clinical level,
but at a "let me tell you exactly how we take care of your patients" level. Dental offices refer to practices they trust. You are how trust gets built.
Social media is part of that trust too. You will help run our accounts, and you will understand what actually makes a post work, not just get one out the door. You will create content that referring offices want to share, that keeps our patients following along long after their braces come off, and that turns casual followers into people who know our name when it matters. If you have grown a following before, for a business or even for yourself, we want to hear about it.
Who We Are Looking For
Someone who does not take rejection personally and does not need reassurance after a tough week. Someone who tracks their own activity, celebrates small wins, and shows up the next morning with the same energy they brought on day one.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal. A genuine love for people, not a performance of it. An ability to walk into a room of strangers and leave with three new connections. A real understanding of social media,
the kind that turns posts into followers and followers into engagement from our patients and our referring offices. Comfort with community events. An understanding that relationship-building is a long game and the patience to play it.
Prior experience in sales, marketing, community outreach, or healthcare is an asset, but we will train the right person. What we cannot train is the fearlessness, the follow-through, and the warmth.
What We Offer
This is a full-time position with a skilled work environment and a team that takes culture seriously. There is significant room for growth for someone who wants to build a career in practice development, marketing, and community relations. We invest in the people who invest in this role.
Compensation is competitive and reflects the importance of what you will be doing. Details discussed with qualified candidates.
