Paint Line Helper

Location: Etobicoke, ON

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Summary

We are hiring a Paint Line Helper to support paint line operations by preparing paints and materials, and assisting operators with production setup

Key Responsibilities

- Review production schedules and prepare the correct paints, solvents, and materials for each production run.
- Assist Paint Line Operators with equipment setup and ensure paints, tools, and supplies are available throughout production.
- Check and maintain paint viscosity, making adjustments only as directed by the Operator.
- Pump, mix, and handle paints safely, and deliver paint samples to the lab when required.
- Clean and maintain paint room, equipment, tools, and work areas.
- Handle waste disposal, solvent drums, garbage, and materials according to company procedures.
- Safely operate forklifts, hand carts, drum handling equipment, and other tools required for the job.




- Complete production paperwork and follow all quality, safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Report equipment issues, hazards, or workplace incidents to the Supervisor immediately.

Requirements

- Previous manufacturing or paint line experience is an asset.
- Forklift/material handling equipment certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Ability to read work orders, specifications, and operating instructions.
- Basic math skills and good communication skills.
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs (approximately 20 kg) regularly.
- Comfortable working around moving machinery, solvents, fumes, heat, and loud noise.
- Must be able to safely wear required PPE, including a respirator.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Experience:

- painter: 1 year (preferred)
