Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing patient interactions, and maintaining pharmacy operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a clinical setting and contribute to patient care through efficient pharmacy services. Prior pharmacy assistant experience is required with experience using fillware highly desireable.

Responsibilities

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, labeling medications, and ensuring proper storage conditions
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, verifying prescriptions.
- Maintain accurate records of medication transactions and patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, billing,



and documentation of medication orders
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area to meet safety standards
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and team members to facilitate smooth pharmacy operations

Experience

- Prior pharmacy experience is required
- Prior Fillware experience is required
- Experience in patient care environment
- Robust organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
