We are seeking a Cashier to join the team at Little Baba.

Position Summary

The Cashier is responsible for providing fast, friendly, and accurate service to guests in a quick service restaurant (QSR) environment. This role involves taking customer orders, processing payments, maintaining cleanliness of the front counter area, and ensuring a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers promptly with a friendly and skilled attitude
- Accurately take customer orders using the POS (Point of Sale) system
- Process cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments
- Answer customer questions regarding menu items, promotions, and specials
- Upsell menu items and promote current offers when appropriate
- Assemble and verify orders before handing them to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter, dining area, and beverage stations
- Restock supplies such as cups, lids, napkins, and condiments
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and company policies
- Handle customer concerns calmly and escalate issues to management when necessary
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred




- Previous cashier or customer service experience is an asset
- Basic math skills and cash handling experience
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
