Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Retail and Social Media Team Leader to spearhead our retail operations and elevate our social media presence. Duties

- Lead and supervise staff to ensure exceptional customer service, effective sales techniques, and smooth store operations
- Develop and execute engaging social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, attract new customers, and promote products or events
- Oversee daily store activities including merchandising, pricing, inventory management, purchasing, and cash handling
- Train team members on POS (Point of Sale) systems, cashiering procedures, phone etiquette, and customer service standards
- Utilize strong communication skills to liaise with vendors, negotiate contracts or promotions, and implement marketing initiatives

Qualifications

- Proven supervising experience in retail management or sales leadership roles with a focus on team management and training & development
- Demonstrated expertise in retail sales, merchandising, pricing strategies,



and store management practices
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping software, and basic math skills for budgeting purposes
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills coupled with phone etiquette and customer service excellence
- Experience in social media marketing including content creation, platform management (such as Instagram, Facebook), and analytics tools
- Leadership qualities such as motivation, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and a proactive approach to team development
- Previous experience working in a professional animal care environment would be an asset
