Position: Junior Sous Chef

Job Type: Part time with potential to Full-time

Location: Downtown, Edmonton

Salary: Competitive, based on experience and skill level

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the management on daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff during service when required.
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stock rotation.
- Help train and mentor junior kitchen team members.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Line Cook, Chef de Partie, or similar role.
- Culinary education or equivalent experience is an asset.




- Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and independently.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Food Safe Certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
