With a two-year social service diploma and experience working with Anishinabe communities, you will effectively implement programs and guidelines that align with the Child, Youth, and Family Services Act, enhancing the well-being of those in your care. Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate behavioral programming for children and youth
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for clients
- Provide life skills coaching and emotional support
- Encourage resilience and effective emotional regulation
- Conduct crisis intervention and conflict resolution
Requirements:
- Diploma in Child and Youth Worker or social services
- Relevant experience with Anishinabek communities preferred
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to acquire
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
- Insurance for client transport purposes
