- Oversee navigational watch and safety equipment upkeep
- Inspect lifesaving and firefighting gear bi-weekly
- Maintain bridge equipment and navigational instruments
- Ensure passenger safety during embarkation and disembarkation
- Direct crew tasks and monitor operational compliance Requirements:
- Canadian Watch keeping Mate Certificate required
- STCW Basic Safety and Advanced Fire Fighting certifications
- Seafarers Medical and Radio Operator Certificate
- Experience in vessel operations and safety procedures
