Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated 310J Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining container chassis and containers. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably to support our operational goals.

Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on container chassis and shipping containers.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized machinery to complete repairs accurately.
- Conduct heavy lifting operations safely using appropriate equipment and techniques to handle large components or machinery parts.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs for all performed tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety standards are upheld during all repair activities.

Experience

- Proven mechanic experience with heavy machinery and industrial equipment maintenance.




- Dealership experience is highly preferred, especially with brands like Caterpillar or similar manufacturers.
- Hands-on experience working with excavators, cranes, forklifts, HVAC systems, and farm machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools for complex machinery repair.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various industrial settings.
- Excellent customer service skills for communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding repair status or technical issues.
